PURPOSE:To provide a printing nozzle equipped with a fine hole for spouting ink, a passage connected thereto and an electrical heating means which is capable of maintaining a good printing characteristic at all times by the adoption of such an arrangement wherein a liquid other than ink is supplied into the spouting hole while ink spouting is stopped and the liquid is heated and melted at the time of the solidification of the ink. CONSTITUTION:In a nozzle for printing equipped with a fine hole for spouting ink to a recording medium, a nozzle body 1 is provided with a spouting hole 2 and an ink storage 3 and ink is supplied to a pressurizing chamber 7 through a pipe 5 and ink is pressurized in the chamber by a vibration plate 8 which is vibrated by a piezoelectric body 9 and ink is spouted from the spouting hole 2. A liquid passage 4 connecting to the spouting hole 2 is also provided and it is arranged so that a liquid, for instance, oil, etc., is guided into the spouting hole 2 to prevent ink from contacting with air when ink spouting is stopped. Further, by the installation of an electric heating wire H with an insulator body S interposed inbetween as an electric heating means, the clogging of ink is eliminated or prevented. |
