PURPOSE:To obtain a low-pressure-fixable toner for electrophotography or the like stabilized in fixing and developing performances, by mixing fine hollow particles with a toner material. CONSTITUTION:Fine hollow particles, such as microballoons are mixed with a toner powder consisting of a colorant and a pressure-fixable binding material in an amount of 0.01-50wt% per the total weight of the toner, and undergo treatments of melting, kneading, and pulverizing to a 1-30mum size, thus permitting the obtained toner to contain fine hollow particles 11 in a resin 12 containing dispersed a magnetic powder and a metallic complex salt dye, to be fixed with low pressure due to the presence of brittle voids against the force exerted from the outside, to be raised and stabilized in triboelectrification quantity due to the exposure of the particle 11 surfaces, and to be prevented from flocculation and deterioration during the continuous use. |
