PURPOSE:To enable to convert discrete input character codes into a continuous conversion characters with a less capacity of memory, by providing the 1st and 2nd storage sections and an operation device and picking up consecutive code data from the operation device. CONSTITUTION:An RAM 201 is stored with the state of registration and sequence of registration in 8 types of digit codes, and an ROM 202 is stored with the sequence of registration of digit code in the lower-order 3-bit. When a 16- bit code is inputted, the upper-order 13-bit outputs a 8-bit to the ROM 202 via the RAM 201 and outputs 13-bit to an adder 203. The ROM receives the inputted lower-rank 3-bit and the 8-bit of the RAM 201 and outputs the 3-bit data. The adder 203 adds the 13-bit in the RAM 201 and the 3-bit in the ROM 202 to obtain a data 207. Next, in a pattern memory, pattern information is obtained with an address corresponding to the data 207. The input codes which are discrete at first are converted into consecutive codes. |
