In orthopaedics, in order to treat bone-fractures in the shoulder region, use is made of harnesses with shoulder straps whose ends are connected together. In order to eliminate tensions in the muscular system of the neck of the human body, the harness (1) consists of a body belt (2) and of shoulder straps (3,4) to be connected to the body belt and having convex pressure members (5), for example pads, the pressure members (5) being adjustable along the shoulder straps. With such a harness there is exerted a massaging effect which stimulates the muscles in the shoulder area and the reflexive consequence of which is a relaxation of the tension in the muscular system. <IMAGE> |
