PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for calibration of gravity and sensitivity and to make the measurement of high accuracy possible by connecting a beam formed with a weight in its leading end part in one body to a load cell, disposing strain gauges to the beam and the load cell and providing a gravity compensating circuit. CONSTITUTION:A weight 5 is fored in one body to the leading end of a beam 4 connecting in one body to the fixing part 1B of a load cell 1 and is protected with a stopper 7 via a gap part 8. A bridge for measuring load is formed to deflecting parts 1C, 1D, and strain gauges 2 for measuring load which detects the strian by the load W exerted upon a loading part 1A are provided. A bridge for compensating gravity is formed on the fixing end side of the beam 4, and a strain gauge 6 for compensating gravity acceleration detecting the strain of the beam 4 by the weight 5 is provided. When the change in the resistance value rs of the strain gauge 20 for compensating gravity is DELTArs/rs=aDELTAg/g (a is a proportional constant), the gravity is compensated by a compensating circuit. |
