PURPOSE:To burn a large quantity of samples quickly and perfectly, by introducing a vaporized sample for analysis into a long and narrow combustion zone and supplying O2 from the plural spots, then, accomplishing the combustion under the existense of a multi-surface packing agent. CONSTITUTION:A three-way valve (n) is set on the side of nitrogen and a proper quantity of nitrogen is ventilated through a sample introducing opening k by using a flow rate control valve o2 and a flowmeter p2. After inserting a platinum boat j putting in the samle into a sample vaporizing part (s), an absorption part (u) is prepared and pressure in a combustion tube (a) filled up a multi- surface packing agent (i) is reduced to below a prescribed decompression degree by operating a suction pump (v). Next, as occasion demands, water is injected from an injection pipe (f) by a liquid sending pump (l) and the sample is vaporized or is thermally decomposed by turning an electric current on the part (s). Thereafter, the valve (n) is switched on the side of oxygen and said sample is introduced int a combustion part (r) preheated at 800-900 deg.C. Then, oxygen is supplied from oxygen supply tubes e1-e6 at the same time and combustion is accomplished. |
