Pharmaceutical compositions having preferential action on the replication of DNA and the synthesis RNA in tumorous, cancerous and viral cells, characterized in that they consist of microgranules having a neutral central core, at least one first intermediary layer comprising at least one alkaloid of the group of beta-carbolines of the type serpentine, alstonine, sempervirine and flavopereirine, and at least an outer layer made up by a microporous envelope, comprising at least a natural and/or synthetic polymer of the type : shellac, arabic gum, gelatine, cellulose, ethyl cellulose, cellulose acetophtalate, cellulose triacetate, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyoxyethylene glycol, methacrylates and styrene-acrylonitrile copolymers.
