PURPOSE:To provide an original plate for lithography permitting better transfer of a picture by a plain paper copying machine while sufficient non-oil sensitization of non-picture section with a non-oil sinsetization liquid by means of a picture receiving layer mainly composed of a zinc peroxide and a bonding resin provided on a water resistant supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A picture receiving layer mainly composed of zinc peroxide (obtained by reacting an anhydrous ether solution of hydrogen peroxide with zinc diethyl or the like) and a bonding resin (e.g. PVA and a urea resin) is provided on the surface of a water resistant supporting body (e.g. a wet strength wood free paper or a wood free paper provided on one side or both sides thereof with a water resistant layer made up of an O/W type emulsion of an acrylic resin or the like) preferably at a thickness of 2-10mum to obtain a target original plate. It is preferable to contain the zinc peroxide into the picture at a rate of 30- 85wt%. EFFECT:As the picture receiving layer has stable hydrophilic property and water resistance, many clear printed matters can be always obtained free from variation in the quality. |
