PURPOSE:To miniaturize and lighten a shunt reactor, and to reduce the area of overall installation by arranging primary winding between secondary winding and tertiary winding. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding 11 is connected to a power supply 21 through a breaker 1, the secondary winding 12 is connected to load L through a breaker 2, and the tertiary winding 13 is connected to the shunt reactor 20 through a breaker 3. The winding 11 is disposed between the winding 12 and the winding 13. When lagging reactive power must be supplied, the breaker 3 is closed, and the shunt reactor 20 is inserted. Since shunt reactance X1 is approximately zero, a voltage drop is I2(X1+X2), and is similar to value at the time of the opening of the breaker 3. Accordingly, the shunt reactor is miniaturized. |
