The invention relates to a connection element made of poorly heat-conducting material. Such an element is used for connecting effectively heat-conducting parts, for example aluminium parts for windows. The element according to the invention has two outer and two inner legs (17, 18; 21, 22), of which the two outer legs (17, 18) engage in each case in a groove of the effectively heat-conducting parts (9, 10; 11, 12), and the two inner legs (21, 22) bear in each case on a projection (7, 8) of the effectively heat-conducting parts. The two inner legs (21, 22) in this case have, at their respective ends, claws (27, 28) which are directed towards one another. At a certain distance from these claws (27, 28), an elastic bridge (25) is provided between the inner legs (21, 22). <IMAGE>
