METHOD FOR CHARGING-IN AND DELIVERING PULVERULENT MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To enable to store a pulverulent material without biased storing and deliver the material in a uniform distribution of particle size by a method wherein the pulverulent material is intermittently and instantaneously charged into a storing tank and is continuously delivered through a pipe provided with a plurality of holes. CONSTITUTION:The pipe 30 is erected in a central part of the storing tand 16. The pipe 30 has its one end at the upper surface 15 of the tank 16 and the other end at a delivering port 13, and is provided with the plural holes 31 distributed in the axial and circumferential directions. By opening a valve 33 at the bottom part of an intermittent hopper 32 provided above the tank 16, a predetermined amount of the pulverulent material containied in the hopper 32 can be charged in. In addition, since the valve 33 causes the material to fall off the entire circumference thereof the material is charged not only into the central part of the upper surface 15 of the tank 16 but toward the inside peripheral surface of the tank 16 annularly. The pulverulent material cannot become fluidized in the tank 16 before it is simply accumulated, so that the uniform distribution of the particle size at the time of charging is retained and its biased storing is prevented. The delivery of the pulverulent material is carried out from the upper part of the tank 16 through the holes 31.
