PROCESS FOR HEAT TREATMENT OF FINE-GRAINED MATERIAL

Powder raw material is fired in a fluidized bed(2) in the presence of fuel, preheated air and a recirculated part of the fired material and cooled. Prior to entering the fluidized bed, the raw material is preheated and deacidified I a precalcination zone with addnl. fuel. The fired material is transferred from the lower portion of the fluidized bed to a vibration in which it is cooled with an air current. Part of this air is introduced in the fluidized bed while another part serves as combustion air in the precalcination zone.
