The carrying case made of thermoplastic film, which is provided at its upper end in two opposite side walls in each case with a gripping hole punch-out and with side folds and a bottom weld, has above and below the gripping hole welds which extend transversely over the width of the carrying case and connect the opposite case walls (13, 14) including their side folds (19, 20, 21, 22) to one another. The filling takes place via the bottom end. The case is always closed below the gripping hole. The gripping hole region is stiffened additionally by the two transverse welds. The carrying case can have additional reinforcement films in the region of the gripping hole. <IMAGE>
