PURPOSE:To alleviate the current capacity of a discharge diode by connecting the diode between the output terminal of a transistor connected to a high potential point of transistors connected in a bridge and a control electrode. CONSTITUTION:When transistors 3, 6 are conducted, a current flows from a high potential power terminal 1 through the transistors 3, 6 and an inductive load 11 to a low potential power terminal 2. When the transistor 6 is interrupted in this state, the output potential of a connecting point B rises due to a counterelectromotive force generated at the load 11. At this time, a current is supplied through a discharge diode 15 to the base of a transistor 5, which is reversely operated. Thus, the energy stored in the load 11 is discharged. In this case, the current flowing to the load 11 is the base current of the transistor 5, and the current capacity of the diode 15 can be reduced. |
