PURPOSE:To perform optimum control based on information including destinations and directions, by providing an anouncing device for requesting the movement to the predetermined positions to the waiting passengers in platforms and the like, and a synthronizing device which commands the pickup of information from cameras after the anouncement, and the like. CONSTITUTION:The waiting passenger detecting device is constituted by the speech anouncement device 15 which regenerates the predetermined stored speech, the synchronizing device 16 which regenerates an output when a soecified time has elapsed after the end of the anounicement the anouncing device 15, a pattern recognizing device 18 which recognizes the presence of the waiting passengers and counts their heads, and the like. A speaker 7 puts out the request for to the predetermined positions depending on the destinations and directions to the waiting passengers. When the specified time has elapsed after the end of the speech, the synchronizing device 16 generates the output, and the pattern recognizing device 18 counts the heads of the waiting passengers. By analyzing the video of the camera 6 at each anouncement based on the output, the optimum control is performed based on the information including the destinations and the directions. |
