PURPOSE:To improve detecting accuracy by eliminating resonance from a swinging body for detection, by providing a wave motion-detecting swinging body, which is attached onto wall of a tube and supported by a cylindrical main body in such a manner as to be able to swing freely, with a massive body matching a detecting section by keeping the supporting surface as the center. CONSTITUTION:A detecting rod 16, being a swinging body, is inserted into a bellows chamber 11 and a detecting rod chamber 12 in such a manner that a circular flange-like lever 17 is engaged with and supported on step sections of two chambers 10 and 11. On the lever plate 17 of the detecting rod 16, and on the other side of a detecting section 18 facing the supporting surface, a weight 29 which is a massive body is formed as a continuous body. This weight 29 is so designed that l1G1 becomes equal to l2G2 when G1 is a total mass of the weight 29 and the lever plate 17, and l1 a length between the center of gravity 31 and supporting surface of the lever plate 17. As it is possible, by doing so, to eliminate resonance which is caused to the detecting swinging body by vibration of piping, detecting accuracy can be improved. |
