The mechanism is used to stop the electronic circuit when the user is adjusting the time. The electronic circuit is stopped by closing an electrical contact formed by a stop and a switching part. A swivelling member has one arm controlled by the watch's button and moves around an electrically conductive axle. The mechanism also has a spring in the shape of a pin with a loop surrounding the axle. This spring is also electrically conductive and is moved between a rest stop and the electrical contact stop by the button of the watch. The spring's loop slides on the axle during this movement.
