The invention relates to a case made of plastic for accommodating tools and various small items, in which case a plurality of drawers arranged one above the other are mounted displaceably. The case is characterised in that guide grooves and guide webs engaging in said grooves are provided on the inside surfaces of the side walls of a frame and on the outside surfaces of the transverse walls of the drawers, in that stops and counter-stops are constructed in the guide grooves and on the guide webs symmetrically to the centre-plane of the frame and of the drawers in order to limit the transverse displacement of the drawers in both directions, and in that a closure flap is mounted in an articulated manner on at least one side of the frame. The case provides the fitter with many possibilities of variation for accommodating the material. The different small items are available in a clearly visible manner after the case has been opened and the drawers containing them have been pulled out. When the case is closed, they cannot drop out of the compartments if the case is tilted. The case can be produced cost-effectively by injection moulding.
