PURPOSE:To achieve scanning without inclining a recording picture, by making the main scanning recording at the 1st rotation of every two rotations of a drum and shifting the recording head at the 2nd rotation along a drum surface for sub-scanning. CONSTITUTION:When a photoreceptor drum 4 is kept to a recording speed, a pulse signal outputted from a rotary encoder 2 is taken as a line synchronizing signal to start the scanning for picture write-in. In this case, the main scanniing is made at the 1st rotation of two rotations of the drum 4 and the sub-scanning is made by feeding a recording head 6 in step during the remaining one rotation. If no write-in information is present at the main scanning of time t3-t4, the head 6 during that time is skipped and the sub-scanning can continuously be made. In this case, if the required time for the sub-scanning is longer than the time for one revolution of the drum, synchronism in phase is executed from a time point t6 when the drum 4 rotates by an integer number after the end of continuous sub-scanning to execute the next main scanning. |
