<p>The double saw allows longitudinal sawing of round and flat wood. It has a line of transverse, parallel, horizontal rollers and an assembly of two saws (1,2). The blades (3,4) face each other and can be displaced transversely to vary the distance between them. A guide is situated ahead of the saws. There is a loader (17) on a slide (12), moving transversely. This has a horizontal support (19) for round wood (20). A double slide (37) runs on a track (34,35) and has claws (42) to grip the round wood. A similar loader (26) is for flat pieces of wood.</p> |
