MANUFACTURE OF METALLIC SHEET

摘要

PURPOSE:To manufacture a metallic sheet for a valve body and a valve box simply and at low cost by bending a metallic pipe having a tracklike section to circular form and cutting it at a dividing face along a longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A metallic pipe having a tracklike section is cut at a dividing face F that extends along a longitudinal direction and divided into an outer peripheral part 2 that has an arcuate section and an inner peripheral part 3, and made to metallic sheet. The outer peripheral part 2 is fitted to a curved sheet fitting part 7 of a valve body 5 by its flat part 2a in an open-side state, and the free end part 2b is pressure-welded to a sheet 7 of valve box side and sealed surely by elastic deflection deformation. The flat part 3a of the inner peripheral part 3 is fitted to a curved sheet fitting part 14 bulged to the flow passage side of a valve box 6. The free ene side 3b is positioned at the outside of the valve box in a radial direction and the elastic deflection is performed by pressure- welding to the valve body side sheet 13 to ensure sealing.
