The fish-cleaning machine comprises conveyors 1, 3 which are mounted in parallel with an intervening clearance and members 2, 4 for aligning fish bodies and the heads, respectively, in the desired direction, and also two circular knives 5, 10 for cutting off the head and tail of the fish, a hydraulic device 6 having a nozzle 7 for cleaning out the viscera of the fish and members 9 for moving the fish bodies along the trays of the conveyor, which devices are mounted one after the other. The conveyors 1, 3 are made of plates, and corresponding members 2, 4 are mounted on the conveyor plates 15, 18 and arranged to be swivelled in a horizontal plane and locked in position. The hydraulic member 6 which is intended for cleaning out the viscera, and which has the nozzle 7, includes at least one rotating disc 21 having arched channels 22 for allowing water to pass through to the abdominal cavity of the fish when the opening 22 is caused to coincide with the nozzle 7, with the rotatory speed of the disc 21 being synchronised with the speed of the conveyor 1. The devices 9 for displacing the fish bodies towards the circular knife 10 for cutting off the tail are arranged above the said conveyor 1 and designed for being positioned parallel to the members 2 for aligning fish bodies in the desired direction. <IMAGE> |
