Bass side for an accordion

The bass side of an accordion is provided, for playing both bass notes, chords (single or multiple) and individual notes, with a device for switching from chord-playing to single-note playing in the form of a rocker (31) which carries a multiplicity of playing levers (34) which are pivotable about a playing shaft (35), are assigned to the individual clavis levers (19) and actuate the latter, and on which all of the button slides (29) of the chordworks for actuating all of the clavis levers (19) act directly during single-note playing, whereas for chord-playing finger slides (27), actuable via the button slides (29), act directly on playing levers (34) for the chord-playing. The rocker (31) is in this case pivotable about a switch shaft and can thus be switched over. <IMAGE>
