PURPOSE:To simplify the device and to achieve easy maintenance, by installing a laser oscillator horizontally on an azimuth rotating stand of a frame of a laser radar main body, and adopting a semi-coud e system using the coud e optical system to the rotation of angle of elevation. CONSTITUTION:Reflection mirrors 6, 7 are provided in conincidence with a rotary shaft of elevation angle rotation of an optical system 1. In use, laser beam from a laser oscillator 2 installed on an azimuth rotating stand of a pedestal 4 is radiated from a transmission telescope 1 via reflection mirrors 5-7. The reflected waves due to scattering in air for the output light are received with a reception telescope 3. Since the laser oscillator 2 is horizontally installed on the pedestal 4, mechanical restriction to the laser oscillator is less, and the maintenance of the laser is easy. Since only one rotary shaft to be conincident with the optical axis is one in comparison with the optical system of the coud e system, the alignment of optical axis is easier. |
