PURPOSE:To detect the flow rate of molten slag easily by measuring the amt. of granulated slag by the use of a continuous type dehydrator. CONSTITUTION:The molten slag flowing out from a spout 1 is received in a water granulation spout 2, and is quickly cooled and finely granulated with the water ejecting from a spray box 3. The granulated slag is fed through a distribution tank 4 and a slurry pipe 5 to dehydrators 6a and 6b. While the granulated slag settled and accumulated in a slurry receiving tank 7 are scraped and rotated with a rotary frame 8, it is dehydrated, and is delivered onto a granulated slag carrying out belt 9a. It is sent into a storage tank 10 by the conveyor 9. Overflowing water is sent to a spray box through a piping 11, a settling tank 12, a cooling tower 16, a cold water tank 17, and a flow rate control valve 19. The number of revolutions of the frame 8 is controlled by load torque detectors 20a and 20b, and the amt. of the granulated slag is detected with flow rate measuring devices 21a and 21b, whereby the flow rate of the molten slag is detected easily. |
