摘要 PURPOSE:To enhance productivity of glass plate grinding by such a construction that the processing head can move along the Z axis, intersecting normally with the receiving table, with the aid of a servo mechanism in order to process glass plates fixed on two or more receiving tables installed parallelly at a time by means of a processing head. CONSTITUTION:Glass plates 6 are delivered to the feed position 2 by a roller conveyor 43 driven by a driver device 46. A table 5 fixes a glass plate 6 by means of vacuum attraction which is driven by a feeding screw device 10 slidingly on the machine table 4 to be sent to the grinding machine's body 1. A grinding head 30 provided with a processing wheel 36 is controlled with its motion by a numerical control device through an X-axis servo motor 26 and also with its Z-axial motion through a bearing device 31. The feeding screw device 10 is driven by a Y-axis servo motor 14. The receiving tables 7 and processig head 32 in such a configuration are arranged on the machine's table 4 with two or more units in a row. After completion of processing, the table 5 sends the glass plate 6 to the takeout device 3 which is then exhausted by a group of rollers 61.
