PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a titled bearing box and to improve work efficiency by connecting one side of upper and lower work roles with a pin and providing an arm that receives cylinder output for a roll bender on their other sides. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower work rolls 12, 13 are adjusted by operating a cylinder 24 for roll bender incorporated in a project block 22. That is, roll bender force is applied to arms 27, 28 of a choke by output Pc of the cylinder 24. This force is doubled by lever ratio L/l that makes a connecting pin 20 a fulcrum. Bender force W about twice the output Pc acts to the center of rolls 12, 13. Accordingly, the number of cylinders 24 can be reduced by half. Since the structure can be simplified accordingly, working space can be made larger and piping work is made easy. Further, crossing phenomenon between the rolls 12, 13 is also prevented surely. |
