PURPOSE:To avoid the beginning end of paper at paper loading from being adhered on a heat roller, by stopping the rotation of the heat roller for a very short time before and after the beginning end of paper passes through the heat roller. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed switch 7 is provided with a yoke mechanism section 6, a paper is loaded, the yoke mechanism section 6 is closed, no air-suction of a suction 9 is made, and it is effective when a backup roller is retracted and a paper 18 is passable between a heat roller 11 and the backup roller 12. A puller sensor 21 consists of light receiving and generating units 21a, 21b and detects that the paper 18 is enrolled on a puller 14 and stops the drive of the heat roller 11 only for a short time before and after the beginning end of paper passes on the heat roller 11, allowing to avoid the beginning end of paper at paper loading from being enrolled on the heat roller 11. |
