PURPOSE:To improve liquid-leakproof performance by applying the adhesive filling agent composed of silicone resin as main substance onto the part which contacts with the can peripheral edge part of the gasket for sealing between a positive electrode can and a negative electrode can. CONSTITUTION:The cathode composition 1 consistuted of light metal such as lithium is filled under pressure into a negative electrode can 5, and the adhesive filling agent 7 containing 50% or more silicone resin by weight is applied onto the groove part 3' of a gasket 3, which is fitted onto the peripheral edge part of the negative electrode can 5. Then, a separator 2 is laid on the gasket 3, and anode composition 4 is inserted, and electrolyte is poured. The opened part of a positive electrode can 6 is bent inwardly through the gasket 3 and sealed. Therefore, electrolyte can be poured, preventing each peripheral edge part of the gasket 3 and the positive electrode can 6 from being wetted, and liquid leak can be prevented effectively by the filling agent 7 having silicone resin mixed. |
