The conveyor serves to remove chips from metal-cutting machines. The conveyor is constructed as a screw conveyor in which the screw (4) is placed eccentrically in a tube (1) which is provided with several longitudinal rails (15), the inner surfaces of which are arranged concentrically in relation to the centre of rotation of the screw (4), as a result of which long chips can be broken or cut off between screw and rails. <IMAGE> |
