PURPOSE:To grind edged tools accurately and to get its good blade line accuracy without any special apparatus and skilled technics, by grinding edged tools through a rotating grinderstone, which is fitted to a grinder shaft instead of a gauge disc, with a good guidance of a grinding model. CONSTITUTION:A rotating grinderstone 18 instead of a gauge disc 5 is fitted to a grinder shaft 4 keeping relative position with an edged tool 12. The grinder 18 is rotated by a motor 2, on the other hand, when a model bar with a same diameter as that of cutter 17 is moved horizontally in both longitudinal and lateral directions by handles 7 & 9 instead of a cutter 17, so as to be guided by the profile P of a grinding model 19, a edged tool is ground in accordance with the required edged tool line with correct angle corresponding to a sooping face 12. |
