PURPOSE:To obtain a resin molded coil with high insulation reliability by a method wherein a low voltage coil, duct molds, an insulating separator, insulating spacers and a high voltage coil are arranged around an inner mold to compose one body and are placed in an outer mold constructed like a vessel and are impregnated by resin and hardened. CONSTITUTION:An inner mold 2 is inserted into a low voltage coil 5 and the coil 5 is set on the bottom plate 3 via an insulating spacer 6. Duct molds 7 are set on the bottom plate 3 providing a space around the low voltage coil 5. An insulating separator 8 is wound around the dcut molds 7. Then a high voltage coil 9 composed of blank coils 10 piled with insulating spacers 11 in between is placed coaxially with the low voltage coil 5 and is set on the bottom plate 3 via an insulating spacer 12. And the whole structure of above element set on the bottom plate 3 of the inner mold 2 is inserted into an outer mold 4 constructed like a vessel and is set as a one-body structure. Then the structure is impregnated by resin poured from the top and is heated and hardened. Finally, the outer mold 4, the inner mold 2 and the duct molds 7 are removed, so that a resin molded coil in which the high and low voltage coils are molded in one body and cooling ducts 14 are formed. |
