The height adjustment is for the rigid cover of a vehicle sliding roof, working with the aid of supports and shoes in guide rails in a cassette below the roof aperture. It is adjustable for height in relation to the rails by altering the angle of the supports to the cover inner plate. Each support (6) rests on the surface of a component forming a ramp in relation to the plane of the cover plate (5). This component (12) can be adjusted from underneath by the tool used to tighten up the support fixing screws (9,10). A common screw can be used to secure the component and support to the plate.
