The collapsible portable stand is used in the medical field, to support panniers of serum bottles during blood transfusions. It comprises a sectional tubular column with a pannier-holder (5) at the head and a tripod (2) at the foot, the column sections (3) being permanently attached to each other. The column sections are threaded onto an elastic cord (7), of which the ends are secured to the holder and the tripod by buckle formations. The holder may be of wire with a central buckle housing into the top of the column, the column sections joining one another via spigot (4) and socket interhousing end formations. |
