PURPOSE:To enlarge and reduce a scale without any manual setting by performing measurement processing in a 1st operation period and storing measurement data in a specific period, finding a maximum and a minimum value in the period and setting gain and a zero point properly according to the amplitude width, and performing recording processing in a 2nd operation period. CONSTITUTION:The measurement data is inputted and stored in the 1st operation period at specific sampling intervals with a clock signal (c) outputted by a timing signal control circuit 12. At this time, the measurement data is A/D- converted 1 and stored in a first-in first-out storage part 2, and they it is compared with the maximum and minimum values by comparators 3 and 5 and stored and updated in maximum and minimum value storage devices 4 and 6. Then, the minimum value is subtracted 7 from the output of the storage part 2 in the 2nd operation section and the result is supplied to a storage part 11; and the minimum value is regarded as a zero point to make a gain adjustment by a gain setter 10 in consideration of the difference between the maximum and minimum values. Thus, the measurement data is recorded automatically within an invariably proper amplitude range.
