PURPOSE:To prevent the entry of wastes into the clearances between the packer plate of a compressor for pneumatically transported waste and the compressor body and discharge said wastes by communicating the air pressures in the chambers before and behind the packer plate generated by its advance and retreat openably and closably of both chambers and adjusting the same. CONSTITUTION:Wastes produced in residential quarters or the like is transported by the air released from a blower 9, and enters a storage and discharge machine 6 through a separator 5. When said machine is opened, the wastes is charged into the compression chamber 17 of a compressor 10. This is forced into a container 11 by the advance of a packer plate 12 by a cylinder 13. At this time, the upper plate 12' closes the bottom end of a hopper 16. When an electromagnetic stop valve 14 is opened in accordance with the advancing of the plate 12, air is sucked from the hopper 16 past a piping 15 into a chamber 18 through the valve 14. Hence, the air pressure in the hopper 16, and between the chambers 17, 18 are approximately equal, and the entry of the wastes near the clearances between the plate 12 and a compressor body 20 into the chamber 18 is prevented. When the plate 12 retreats, the valve 14 closes and the air in the chamber 18 has no more ways to go and flows from the inner side of the plate 12 and the body 20 into the chamber 17. Hence, the wastes attached on the inner side of the body 20 is blow out into the chamber 17. |
