PURPOSE:To measure effectively agglutination reaction, by carrying microplates along parallel reaction lines, dispensing samples and reagents to the reaction vessels to perform and antigen-antibody reaction, and detecting optically the results. CONSTITUTION:While a portion of prescribed amount of reagents and blood sample is poured into a reaction receptacle of microplate brought into the first reaction line, the plate is carried zigzag and nearly stationarily from the starting point to the end point of the reaction line. Then the plate is transfered to the starting point of the second reaction line at the end of the first reaction line, and carried along the second reaction line, then the third reaction line similarly. During the carrying of the plate, agglutination pattern is optically measured, that is formed by an antigen-antibody reaction at the bottom of the reaction receptacle. An immunological analysis is performed by using the output of the detection, and the result of detemination is displayed. The microplate is discharged in order from the outlet of the reaction line. |
