PURPOSE:To permit secure adhesion and to obviate deterioration after writing of a recording by providing a coated film of a silicon compd. having an amino group and hydrolyzable group as a surface layer between a recording layer and substrate and providing an underlying layer consisting of a colloidal particle dispersion of a silicon base condensation product thereon. CONSTITUTION:This recording medium has a recording part 2 having the surface layer 4, the underlying layer 5 and the recording layer 6 and a protective plate 35 on the disk-shaped substrate 31. The surface layer 4 is formed of the coated film of the silicon compd. having the amino group and the hydrolyzable group. The underlying layer 5 to be coated on the surface layer 4 consists of the coated film of the colloidal particle dispersion of the silicon base condensation product. The recording layer 6 consisting of a dye alone or dye compsn. is provided on the underlying layer 5. The adhesion between the resin substrate, more particularly polycarbonate resin substrate and the underlying layer is thereby enhanced and the exfoliation between the resin substrate and the underlying layer even during high-temp. preservation is obviated. The deterioration in the adhesive strength even after the writing of the record is prevented as well. |
