PURPOSE:To advance a playback picture independently of missing of bit of a video disc, by compulsively driving a playback track one by one track toward playback advancing direction at every mis-tracking pulse. CONSTITUTION:When a mis-tracking signal P is inputted to a compulsive drive pulse generator 44, a monostable multivibrator 110 is triggered with the leading, the Q output is applied to a loop switch 31 through an OR gate 111 and the switch 31 is kept to off-state while the output of the OR gate 111 is at high level. On the other hand, the Q output keeps on-state of the 2nd selector switch, while the Q output of the monostable multivibrator 110 is at high level. When the 2nd switch 46 turns on, a voltage -V is applied to a tracking objective, which is driven forward.
