PURPOSE:To realize the detection for the runaway of a program without impairing the economical properties even for a small-scale information process system, by providing a means that stores a dynamic stop instruction to all addresses of an unused region of a main storage device. CONSTITUTION:A loader L is stored in a region 21 of a main storage device 2 from an external storage device 3 and based on the initializing procedure. Then a dynamic stop instruction IS incorporated into the loader L is stored in all addresses in a region 22 of the device 2. Then the loader L stores the desired program and data in a region 23 from the device 3, and the instruction IS is stored in all addresses of the rest unused region 24. In case a processor 1 transmits the address of the region 24 owing to a fault, etc., the instruction IS is read and executed to prevent the occurrence of a program runaway. |
