PURPOSE:To absorb forward and vibrations of bearing caps by jointing the first structure member to connect lower ends of bearing caps alternately with the second structure member to connect reamained lower ends of bearing caps via an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:Among bearing caps BC1-BC5 to bear a crank shaft, those of odd numbers are connected to the first plate 30 by a bolt 34 inserted through a bolt-inserting hole 39 of the sedond plate 30', while remained ones of even numbers are connected to the second plate 30' by a bolt 35 inserted through a bolt-inserting hole 40 of the first plate 30. Since an elastic member 32 is provided between the first plate 30 and the second pate 30', the forward and backward vibrations of bearing caps can be damped for reducing the noise of an engine. |
