PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of a control electrode of power semiconductor device by a method wherein a notch is provided in the lower end face of a control lead at the before and behind part in relation to the outgoing directional line. CONSTITUTION:The notch groove 28b is provided in the lower end face at the tip end part 28a of the control lead 28 consisting of a circular bar of spring steel penetrating in the before and behind direction as to be notched the before and behind part thereof in relation to the outgoing directional line. Accordingly even when the lower end face at the tip end part 28a of the lead 28 is assembled being in the inclined posture to the upper face of the control electrode 3, the contacting parts B1, B2 make contact with pressure by two points to disperse pressing force, and the damage of the control electrode 3 and a silicon wafer 1 can be prevented. |
