<p>The panel may be used in buildings of light construction, particularly in industrial buildings. It comprises an outer plate made of fibro-cement and an inner plate between which there is arranged an insulating layer. The panel comprises elements allowing to make it integral with a neighbouring panel or with an attachement rail. On their peripheries, both plates are provided with an edge facing each other. The edge of one of the plates comprises projections or a connection rail arranged so as to allow the assembly of the two plates into one panel, by inserting them into grooves or openings of the other panel. Hence, there is obtained by assembling the two plates a self carrying panel having the shape of a box which requires no ribs or any other reinforcement members. The weight of this panel is very small, and its manufacture and assembly are simpler and less expensive. Both plates may have any shape. Consequently the outer surfaces of the building may be given a pleasant aspect.</p> |
