In the casing of the machine, which has a non-circular cross section, an axial piston (38, 39) rotates. Sealing blades (18) are arranged between the axial piston and the inner wall of the casing. Sealing blades, for example of a Wankel engine, abut directly on the inner wall of the working chambers; the invention proposes to rotate the flanges (20, 40), which define the front faces of the working chambers, together with the axial piston, to arrange the sealing blade in the slots of the flange (40), and to arrange a section of the casing (24) on the outer face of the flange which has the same diameter as the inner wall of the casing defining the working chamber and on which bear the sealing blades. The centrifugal forces are absorbed in the outer portions of the casing, hence in a region which is not subject to the very high temperatures of the working chambers. |
