PURPOSE:To detect anti-ACR antibody by a cohesive reaction of sensitizing latex reagent sensitized by contacting ACR with latex particles in an aqueous medium of a physiological salt solution. CONSTITUTION:About 0.1-1mu average particle size latex of a uniform polymer of chlorostyrene, vinyl chloride, vinylidene chloride or a copolymer of said monomer, is treated by a nonionic surface active agent and is sensitized by contacting with ACR obtained from a femoral muscle of a mammal or an electric organ of fishes in an aqueous medium of a phisiological salt solution or various buffer salt solutions. On this occasion, it is preferable to carry out the sensitization at 6.0-9.0 pH and a temperature of 4-40 deg.C. Unpeculiar cohesion is prevented by saturating the remaining face by particles having a property of adsorbing by the latex particles such as cattle blood serum albumin after sensitizing treatment. Thus obtained latex reagent can be preserved for a long period by freeze-drying and also, can be used as a fresh product in the same way only dissolving by a diluent at the time of use. |
