<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a capacitance of a capacitor for overvoltage suppression by a method wherein a primary winding of a high frequency transformer used in a power source is composed of two coils having the same number of turns in a bifilar winding manner, and further an air gap or an insulator is provided between the primary and the secondary winding, thereby a leakage inductance is generated. CONSTITUTION:A circuit is composed of an A.C. power source, a D.C. power source containing a rectifier and a capacitor, a high frequency transformer, a diode and a transistor and furthermore a high frequency switching power source containing a control device. In this constitution the high frequency transformer provided in the switching power source is constructed as follows: a first insulating material 4 is applied around a leg of an iron core 3, two primary windings 5 having a same number of turns are wound side by side in parallel arount it, and they are constructed as a bifilar winding which has a dense coupling. Next the second insulating materials 6 are arranged facing to each other at both sides around the circumference of the winding 5, all circumference including them is covered by the third insulating material 7 of a piped shape, while a secondary winding 8 is wound around them and coupling between it and the winding 5 is made loose.</p> |
