PURPOSE:To achieve an excellent video signal without flicker, by controlling the gain of an amplifier for signal from an image pickup element with a value integrating the illuminated light amount by a storage time, in an image pickup device such as television camera and the like. CONSTITUTION:A signal (a) from an image pickup device 1 consisting of solid- state image pickup element is given to a gain variable amplifier 2, and the gain of the amplifier 2 is controlled with a value D integrating the illuminated light amount of an instantaneous value C detected at a photosensor 3 by a storage time. Thus, the flicker due to the change in the illuminated light amount can be eliminated. |
