<p>The small bottle-washing machine is particularly for domestic use, and has a vertical rotary/hollow shaft (2) with brushes (3) on its top end inserted in the bottle (4) for mechanical cleaning of the interior. The shaft is driven by a water-turbine (7) whose nozzle is connected by a tap to a water supply under pressure. The turbine can be of the Pelton Wheel type, while a pipe (12) can be connected between the tap and the nozzle, leading to the interior of the hollow shaft. The drive from the turbine shaft to the hollow shaft can be transmitted by bevel gears (9,10) keyed to them.</p> |
