<p>PURPOSE:To prepare a volatile, metal-processing oil composition leaving no residual oil after use, and suitable as cutting oil and for the temporary lubrication, by adding a halogenated hydrocarbon to the base oil. CONSTITUTION:The objective metal processing oil composition is prepared by compounding (A) one or more halogenated hydrocarbons having a boiling point of pref. 23-125 deg.C (pref. examples: trichlorotrifluoroethane and tetrachlorodifluoroethane) to (B) a base oil (and fluorinated oil) having a boiling point of pref. 130-250 deg.C. The fluorinated oil is pref. chlorotrifluoroethylene of formula (n is 2-4).</p> |
