PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolytic cell free from its internal short-circuit, by piling up a sheet-like cathode element, a sheet-like solid electrolytic element and a sheet-like anode element, and irradiating the stack of these elements with laser beams to cut it in a power generating element group of a prescribed configuration. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-like solid electrolyte layer element 6a is made by mixing uniformly a bonding agent and the powder of solid electrolyte obtained by baking the mixed powder of gamma type active alumina and lithium in an inert atmosphere. On the other hand, a sheet-like anode element 7a is made by mixing uniformly lead iodide, lead and a bonding agent. Next, said solid electrolytic element 6a and said anode element unit 7a are piled up successively on a cathode element 5a made of sheet-like metallic lithium. This stack 11 of these element is sent to a laser cutting device 13, and cut successively in a power generating element group 21 of a prescribed confuguration by directional laser beams 20 radiated from the laser cutting device. |
